Take JUNCTION 33 off M4 motorway following signposts for Penarth heading into Cardiff Bay on the A4232. Travel for about 9 miles heading towards Cardiff Bay and exit at the junction signed Techniquest/Mermaid Quay just before the tunnels. Take the first exit off the roundabout into Stuart Street. Parking is available on the first right, adjacent St. David's Hotel or further along Stuart Street in the Multi-Story Car Park. 'SAT NAV' Systems - Nearest post code for 'Sat Nav' systems to use is 'CF10 5AL', the post code for the Customs House. This will get you to the Barrage car park.

Arriving by Bus

Buses on services 6 (BayCar) and 8 run through the City Centre (Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Westgate Street and St Mary Street) to Cardiff Bay (Wales Millennium Centre). Service 6 (BayCar) operates direct via the rear of Central Station and Lloyd George Avenue, service 8 operates via Central Station (Wood Street) and Grangetown. Additionally service 7 operates from Canal Street (by the Central Library) direct via Bute Street.

Arriving by Train

First Great Western operate many direct services to Cardiff Central from London Paddington, Reading, Swindon, Bristol & Avon, Portsmouth Harbour, Southampton, Weymouth and South Wales. Connecting services also operate from the Cotswolds, Thames Valley, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and the South West.
